2nd circular: SEH 19th European Congress of Herpetology and OGM, Salzburg (Austria) September 18th - 23rd 2017



Dear Colleagues!

Only six months to go, until we meet at the SEH 19th European Congress of

Herpetology at the Faculty of Natural Sciences of the University of Salzburg, Austria,

hosted by the University of Salzburg, Department of Ecology and Evolution, supported

by the Herpetological Working Group of the Natural Science Museum Haus der Natur

Salzburg (HerpAg) and the Austrian Society of Herpetology (ÖGH). Here is some

important information for all planning to attend the congress.

Scientific Programme

We will have four days of scientific programme with two parallel sessions and four

plenary lectures. Invited plenary speakers are:


Eva Ringler (University of Vienna, University of California Los Angeles)


Nikolay Poyarkov (University of Moscow)


Matthieu Denoel (University of Liege)


Peter Praschag (Turtle Island Graz)

Currently special sessions/workshops are planned on topics such as

developmental biology of reptiles
